A new sign has been placed in front of Village Hall to show Winfield residents how many tax dollars are being spent on School District 34’s lawsuit against the Village, which is now holding up further development in Town Center. This amount includes legal fees and consultant expenses for both parties, and will be updated regularly. Village staff time is included in the amount, but school staff time spent on the lawsuit has not been made available publicly.
