Following the CDC’s approval of the Pfizer pediatric COVID-19 vaccine, DuPage County Health Department (DCHD) has announced COVID-19 vaccination shots for children ages 5-11 are expected to be widely available across DuPage County. DCHD will begin offering the pediatric COVID-19 vaccine the week of November 15th at multiple DCHD Public Health Center locations, and residents may begin registering their children for appointments now. Residents seeking an appointment sooner should check with your child’s pediatrician or healthcare provider, local retail pharmacy, or with your child’s school to see if they are hosting a clinic.
