Happy Centennial New Year!
 
The Village of Winfield is excited to kick-off the official beginning of its Centennial Year 2021 Celebration starting at 10 P.M. on New Year’s Eve with a Torch Relay through several Winfield neighborhoods, ending with its placement in front of Village Hall by the stroke of midnight! 
 
A ceremonial solar-powered torch will be relayed by residents young and old, each walking a short portion of the 5.5-mile route through Winfield's Christmas-decorated neighborhood streets. Volunteers are sought to relay the Winfield Torch through various segments of the route highlighted on the street map found at this link: https://www.villageofwinfield.com/DocumentCenter/View/13568/2021-Centennial-Torch-Relay-Route-Map-PDF.com. Individual residents, couples, and families are welcome to take part in this unique Torch Relay event.
